Magnetic penetration depth in quasi-two-dimensional superconductors with line nodes

摘要
We calculate the magnetic penetration depth lambda (T) in quasi-two-dimensional superconductors with line nodes. We find that lambda (T)- lambda (0) proportional to T-alpha with alpha = 1 in many cases, but for a class of the order parameter it is possible that alpha = 3 in special field directions; this may help the identification of the symmetry of the order parameter. A recent measurement of the penetration depth in Sr2RuO4 is discussed in light of the present results.
