摘要
To obtain a further weight loss with less damage to microfbril, the removal of lignin by NaClO2 treatment and the removal of lignin and hemicellulose by a combination of NaClO2 treatment and NaOH treatment under mild conditions were attempted with Hoop pine veneer. The results indicate that specific bending strength of wood increases two fold by a combination of a pretreatment to remove matrix substances, and resin impregnation and compression.
