摘要
The mathematical model introduced by Okazaki & Tanaka (J. Ferment Technol. 1980, 58: 471-476) for estimating fungal growth in solid state fermentations by CO2 evolution, was incorporated into a relationship developed to estimate biomass growth from dry matter weight loss. The proposed equation fitted experimental data very well (R-2 = 0.987, P < 0.0001) and allowed accurate predictions of fungal specific growth rate and maximal biomass in the solid substrate fermentation system.
