Eradication therapy for Helicobacter pylori is recommended in a number of clinical conditions. In this article, we discuss the epidemiology and cellular mechanisms that result in antimicrobial resistance, the results of current eradication therapies, and new approaches to the management of Helicobacter pylon infection.
