摘要
The modern aspects of the Jahn-Teller (JT) Effect theory and its applications to molecular problems were discussed. Essential results were achieved in elucidation of the role of conical intersections and the Berry phase implications in the theory of JT vibrational coupling. The developments in the theory of JT distortions, tunneling splitting and vibronic reduction factors were also reported.
