摘要
The polyamides from the title diacid and various aromatic diamines were prepared using a direct polycondensation method. The polyamides were characterized by means of FT-IR; inherent viscosity (eta(inh)). solubility test and ultra-violet lambda(max). The thermal properties of the polyamides were investigated using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that the polyamides have good thermal stability and solubility. The most thermally stable polyamide in this series was stable up to 399 degrees C. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
