High-sensitivity reflectometer at 1.064 μm for testing the homogeneity of the optical components of gravitational wave antennas

摘要
The instrument described here is a differential reflectometer using a high-frequency (50 id-it) commutation between a reference and a sample mirror, designed to measure the specular reflection factor uniformity of large optical components at 1.064 mu m. Tests have shown a sensitivity of 2 x 10(-5) and a reproducibility of the same order of magnitude.
