摘要
The results of comparative X-ray, TEM, HREM structural studies of different ultrafine-grained and nanocrystalline materials processed by severe plastic deformation (torsion straining and equal-channel angular pressing), inert gas condensation followed by consolidation, ball-milling followed by compaction are represented and analysed. The common features of structures of investigated materials are revealed. The conclusion concerning the presence of the specific defect structure in the nanocrystalline materials processed by the above mentioned techniques is drawn.
