摘要：

In the current environment of economic constraint and managed health care, it is imperative for psychosocial rehabilitation agencies to choose and adopt outcome measures. This paper provides a framework that providers can use in this process. After a brief review of the state of the field, it proposes five principles that can be used to choose outcome measures. It also provides suggestions for the process that an agency might use in adopting outcome measures and reviews some necessary implementation activities.
