Single-frequency intracavity doubled Yb:YAG ring laser

摘要
We present a simple design for an intracavity doubled unidirectional traveling-wave diode-pumped Yb:YAG laser consisting of only two intracavity components: an Yb:YAG gain medium and a KTP doubling crystal. An output power of more than 40 mW at 515.5 nm was observed. By using a temperature tuned KTP-based birefringent crystal, we obtained a tuning of about 1 nm around 1031 mn with a green output through the tuning range. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V.
