摘要
Nonlinear absorption in carbon disulfide was investigated at the wavelengths of 795 and 1054 nm. Nonlinear absorption coefficients were measured to be 5 x 10(-11) cm W-1 (due to two-photon absorption, lambda = 795 nm) and 2.8 x 10(-23) cm(3) W-2 (due to three-photon absorption, lambda = 1054 nm). The influence of two-photon absorption on the variations of nonlinear refractive index of CS2 at high pulse repetition rates was analyzed. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
