Operational aspects of self-excited induction generator using a new model

摘要
This paper presents a new approach to analyze the operation of a self-excited induction generator operating under steady-state conditions. The proposed approach when applied leads to quadratic equation in slip, which makes the analysis and physical interpretation of performance simple, explicit, and comprehensive. The theoretical results obtained from the proposed model have been verified experimentally under different operating conditions.
