摘要
A solid acid of tungsten-niobium oxide is obtained by evaporating water of a mixed solution of ammonium metatungstate and niobium ammonium oxalate in water in the metal ratio 7:1 followed by calcining in air at 400 degreesC; its catalytic activity for decompositions of toluene, ethylbenzene and cumene is higher than those of tungstated zirconia, mordenite and silica-alumina.
