摘要
A simple explanation is given to the phenomenon of decrease in the friction force between an adsorbed gas film and the surface of a metal, which is observed when the metal is cooled below the superconducting transition temperature. It is pointed out that, below the critical temperature, the friction force must exhibit a characteristic extremum corresponding to the equality of the heat capacities of superconducting and normal phases.
