摘要：

Several misconceptions about Web services technology are studied. The most common misconceptions are: Web services are just like distributed objects, that are RPC for the Internet, and debugging Web services is impossible. Web services are going to play an important role in the future of distributed computing, significantly impacting application and system development. This technology will have a dramatic enabling effect on worldwide interoperable distributed computing.
