Blue photoluminescence from SiC nanoparticles encapsulated in ZSM-5

摘要
Carbon ions were implanted into Si/ZSM-5 host-guest composite material at an energy of 50 keV and with a dose of 3 X 10(17) cm(-2) followed by thermal annealing in a vacuum chamber to form SiC/ZSM-5 host-guest composite material. Blue photoluminescence (PL) has been obtained from the SiC nanoparticles encapsulated in ZSM-5. The results could be explained by the quantum confinement effect. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
