摘要
Small but powerful: NIR-emitting CdTe quantum dots (QDs) are directly prepared in aqueous phase through a one-step microwave synthesis. The QDs display excellent aqueous dispersibility, strong luminescence, and high stability. In vitro and in vivo imaging applications show high spectral and spatial resolution. The QDs are efficiently accumulated in tumors of live mice (see picture). Copyright © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
