Survey of the pre-factor of the power-law frequency dependence in the silver conducting chalcogenide glasses

摘要
The variation of parameter A in the power-law conductivity dependence on the frequency, sigma'(omega) = A omega(s), for chalcogenide glasses (Ag2S)(x)(GeS2)(1-x), where 0 < x less than or equal to 0.5, has been determined experimentally. It is found that the exponent s is temperature and frequency dependent. Probable mechanisms of charge transport responsible for the experimentally observed temperature dependent conductivity via the temperature dependent parameter A are described and analyzed.
