摘要
(Figure Presented) Inside out: Corrosive pitting and etching can be combined in a simple, elegant, and powerful method to transform single-crystal Pd nanocubes into nanoboxes (see SEM image) and nanocages in a one-pot synthesis without the involvement of exotic templates. Emptying the interiors enables the surface plasmon resonance peaks of the Pd nanostructures to be tuned from 410 to 520 nm. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
