摘要：

Shvo's diruthenium complex is an active catalyst in a considerable number of homogeneous reactions. Its catalytic activity is mainly due to the fact that it dissociates into two monomeric ruthenium species in solution under thermal conditions. We review the applications under three major headings i.e., oxidation, reduction and dynamic kinetic resolution. (c) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
