摘要
A method is proposed for the determination of the main characteristics of a field emission electron source based on a single or multi-tip field emission electron cathodes. The problem of the optimal configuration of the multi-tip system is solved. The shape and height of the field emission cathode on the multi-tip basis are considered as well as the distances between the tips, and the optimum combination is proposed.
