摘要：

The development of a reliable production process for the electroless nickel plating of magnesium die casting alloy is described. The chemistries of the pre-treatment process and the electroless nickel solution itself are interdependent. SEM, EDX and EPS studies were made of the magnesium surface at various stages in the pre-treatment in an effort to explain the mechanism of adhesion and deposition.
