Destruction of the Fermi surface in underdoped cuprates

摘要
We review some of our recent angle-resolved photoemission results on Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8, as a function of doping. We find that the Fermi surface is progressively destroyed as the temperature is lowered below the pseudogap temperature T* Furthermore, the superconducting gap behaves quite differently at different k-points. All of these results point to a non-mean-held behavior of the superconducting transition. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
