摘要
A new discrete method for particle swarm optimization (PSO) which can be widely applied in transmission network expansion planning (TNEP) has been discussed in this paper. The author also analyses the parameter selection, convergence judgment, optimization fitness function construction, and their characters, respectively. This paper provides an academic and practical basis of PSO in TNEP for further research. (C) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
