摘要
Interdiffusion experiments have been made for Ni3Al using single-phase diffusion couples over the temperature range from 1273 K to 1473 K. The interdiffusion coefficient is larger than the self-diffusion coefficient of Ni by about an order of magnitude, and increases with increasing the Al concentration. For the stoichiometric composition, the apparent activation energy and. the pre-exponential factor for the interdiffusion coefficient are 243 +/- 16 kJ mol(-1) and 10(-4.9 +/- 0.6) m(2)s(-1), respectively. An attempt has been made to estimate the self-diffusion coefficient of Al on the basis of the Darken-Manning equation.
