Harmonic sources and filtering approaches

摘要
The 22 basic filter configurations are presented for harmonic compensation of nonlinear loads. Non-linear loads are characterized into two types of harmonic sources namely current-source nonlinear loads and voltage-source nonlinear loads. It is shown that parallel filters are suitable for the current-source nonlinear loads and series filters are suitable for voltage-source nonlinear loads. Analyzation revealed that the current-source nonlinear loads and voltage-source nonlinear loads have dual relations with each other in circuits and properties.
