摘要
The interaction of fullerene C-60 with poly(2,6-dimethyl)-phenyleneoxide (PPO) in free films was studied by optical methods. The electronic structure of C-60 in these polymer films was shown to have two states, with the energy state of C-60 bound to PPO being independent of the C-60 content. Comparison of the photoluminescence spectra of PPO-C-60 and polystyrene-C-60 systems makes it possible to assert that the interaction between the components of these systems occurs via pi electrons of fullerene and 71 electrons of benzene rings of the polymers. It is assumed that C-60 in the polymer exists in two forms that differ in their electronic structure: a molecular-dispersed state (in the form of complexes with the polymer) and as crystals (aggregates) of fullerene.
