摘要
The characteristics of Cuk converters in discontinuous-capacitor-voltage mode operation are studied, A Cuk converter in this mode of operation is an inherent power-factor corrector and features soft turn-off switching. Simulation and experimental results are reported to verify the theoretical analysis, In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of power-factor correction circuits using Cuk converters in discontinuous-inductor-current mode operation and Cuk converters in discontinuous-capacitor-voltage mode operation are discussed.
