摘要：

Nickel aluminate spinel has been prepared by microwave heating from a coprecipitated mixture of nickel and aluminum hydroxides precursor and characterized by XRD, solid-state UV-vis spectroscopy, and SEM. The solid-state UV-vis spectrum indicates that the nickel ions in the tetrahedral coordinated sites are the dominant species in the nickel aluminate spinel prepared by microwave heating.
