Polarized Raman spectra of single-wall carbon nanotubes mono-dispersed in channels of AlPO4-5 single crystals

摘要
We report polarized Raman spectra of single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNs) dispersed in one-dimensional channels of an AlPO4-5 (AFI) single crystal. From the polarization dependence of the Raman intensity, three main Raman bands near 1600 cm(-1) are identified, respectively, to be A(1g), E-1g, and E-2g Raman-active modes, in the low frequency region, the radial breathing mode with Al, symmetry is observed at 530 cm(-1). The A(1g) breathing mode of the SWCNs in the AFI channels is shifted to a higher frequency because of the interaction between the nanotubes and the rigid channel walls of the AFI crystal.
