摘要
Squid, short for Software Quality in Development, is a method and a tool for quality assurance and control. It allows a software development organization to use measurement to plan and control product quality during development, evaluate final product quality, and improve its software development process. The method and tool have been applied in a real software development project, Telescience, which aims to automate a scientific station in Antarctica to permit remote monitoring and control of scientific experiments during the Antarctic winter.
