摘要
Characterization of MDA (3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine) and a series of nitrogen-substituted MDA analogues has been studied using proton and carbon-13 NMR spectroscopy, The H-1 and C-13 chemical shift assignments for both have been confirmed using a combination of 1-dimensional and 2-dimensional NMR experiments. The chemical shift trends of the side chain carbon resonances (alpha-CH2, beta-CH, and gamma-CH3) for MDA, N-methyl MDA and N,N-dimethyl MDA, as both free bases and hydrochloride salts, have been examined.
