摘要
The magnetic properties of the ten title compounds were investigated with a SQUID magnetometer in the temperature range of 2-400 K with magnetic flux densities up to 5.5 T. The magnetic susceptibilities of the two lanthanum compounds indicate that the vanadium atoms carry a magnetic moment essentially corresponding to one uncompensated spin, and the chromium atoms have moments, which correspond to two unpaired spins. After subtraction of these susceptibilities the other compounds show Curie-Weiss behaviour with magnetic moments corresponding to the free Ln(3+)-ion values. The vanadium compounds of Ce, Pr and Nd show magnetic order at temperatures below 10 K. In contrast, the moments of the chromium atoms of all compounds order ferromagnetically with Curie temperatures varying between 105 and 125 K. In addition, the moments of the magnetic Ln(3+) ions show order with transition temperatures between 10 and 35 K.
