Calcination and morphological evolution of cubic copper oxalate particles

摘要
The coprecipitation of oxalates is often used for the elaboration of precursors for good quality ceramic powders. The morphology and structure of cubic copper oxalate particles are investigated after thermal decomposition to see up to which extent the controllable oxalate precursor morphology is retained upon conversion into the oxide. The samples were examined using thermogravimetry, scanning electron microscopy, specific surface area and X-ray diffraction.
