摘要
Many researchers have developed models for estimation of net primary production using satellite data. Especially, NDVI (normalized differential vegetation index) are mainly used for the model because NDVI can be obtained from NOAA/AVHRR data for global area. However, recent sensors have hyper-multispectral data and these data is expected. to be more effective for monitoring vegetation condition. So we developed an estimation model using a new vegetation index VIPD that reflects all information of hyper-multispectral data, and validated the model using Landsat/TM data. (C) 2002 COSPAR.
