摘要
Sleep abnormalities are common in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). Current clinical evidence suggests that both daytime somnolence and night-time sleep abnormalities are related mainly to worsening disease. Improvements in drug delivery, such as transdermal patch, allow more stable dopaminergic stimulation throughout the day. This approach might prove beneficial also for non-motor symptoms and particularly helpful in improving sleep architecture in PD.
