Triplet formation in polyfluorene devices

摘要
The absorptions due to triplet excitons in polyfluorine light emitting diodes (LED) using spectroscopic techniques were studied. The sub-gap absorptions present in poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-benzothiadiazole) F8BT single-polymer and blend devices were investigated. The results showed that the triplets were found in poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) LEDs where as no evidence for triplets was found in F8BT homopolymer or blend devices.
