摘要
Synthesis of ZSM-5 using 1,6-hexanediol as a structure-directing agent has been studied in a vigorously stirred system at 152, 160, and 170 degrees C. Values of the apparent activation energies for the nucleation and growth steps have been calculated. An investigation of the kinetics of nucleation and crystallization processes has been performed. It has been shown that the nucleation rate could be reasonably described by the release of nonuniformly distributed initial nuclei during the crystallization process. The activity of such nuclei was found to be temperature dependent. (C) Elsevier Science Inc. 1997.
