Novel organic hole transport material with very high Tg for light-emitting diodes

摘要
We have synthesized a new hole transport (HT) compound, 4,4',4"-tri(N-dibenzo[a,g]carbazolyl)triphenylamine (TDCTA). Due to the combined star-shaped structure and much-fused dibenzo[a,g]carbazolyl chromophores, TDCTA exhibits a very high glass transition temperature (7) at 212 degreesC and a high thermal decomposition temperature (T-d) at 575 degreesC. When used as a HT in non-optimized doublelayer organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), TDCTA shows a good hole transporting property. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
