摘要
The application of thermal energy in arthroscopic wrist surgery has increased over the past several years. There are expanding indications for arthroscopic intervention that correlate with the advancement in instrument technology and expanding surgical experience. The radiofrequency energy apparatus has allowed for more precise arthroscopic synovectomies, soft tissue debridement, and thermal shrinkage for various pathologic conditions of the wrist. There is a growing expectation that further development within this field of interest will continue to broaden our surgical ability to manage complex conditions of the wrist through arthroscopic measures with a paucity of complications.
