摘要
The synthesis of the Boc-protected Z-olefinic peptide nucleic acid analog (Z-OPA) monomers containing the base thymine II and Cbz-adenine 19 is described. Key step in the synthesis of the underlying carbon framework is a Pd(0)-catalyzed coupling of a vinyl iodide, prepared in three steps from 3-butynol, with the Reformatsky reagent derived from ethyl alpha-bromoacetate.
