摘要
It is shown that the complex nanostructure of a magnetite ferrofluid can be investigated by a combination of magnetic contrast variation by polarised neutrons and an HID contrast variation of the solvent. Three different components are identified, magnetic core-shell particles, free organic-shell molecules and magnetic aggregates, and their size distributions are derived. The organic shell of the composite particle is impenetrable for the solvent. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
