Not all social networks have the same level of maturity or provide the same features, but they share one thing in common: too small a network makes the system uninteresting and too large a network makes it overbearing. These systems need to help users separate the wheat from the chaff as they get bigger, while being careful not to lose their user community through ill-advised features or usability issues. © 2010 IEEE.
