摘要
For the compounds studied, zero-field splittings (zfs) of the lowest triplets lie between about 0.1 and 200 cm(-1). This energy determines spin-lattice relaxation (sir) rates and thus time developments of the emission. It is possible to shift these relaxation times into pre-defined time regions. The importance of these properties is demonstrated for the representative [Ru(bpy)(3)](2+).
