摘要
A 16-year old girl suffering from epilepsy with complex-partial seizures developed a chronic immune thrombocytopenia during treatment with valproic acid, oxcarbacepine and phenytoin. After discontinuation of all antiepileptic drugs her thrombocyte count rose. However, following the initiation of a monotherapy with levetiracetam, her thrombocytopenia worsened and she developed clinically relevant bleeds. Therapy with 7-s-immunoglobulines and methylprednisolone only led to a limited response. Therefore treatment with an anti-CD 20-antibody was begun. As most antiepileptic drugs, levetiracetam may be associated with immune thrombocytopenia.
