摘要
In this paper, some novel manufacturing technology of structure controlled titania (titanium dioxide: TiO2) Support catalyst was proposed for the further improvement of catalyst in diesel ultra-deep hydrodesulfurization (HDS). The multi-gelation method has a good performance to synthesize uniform particles of titanium dioxide. The titanium dioxide produced by the proprietary preparation method is superior in thermal stability compared to catalysts prepared by other methods at high calcining temperature. It was confirmed that titania with high specific surface area obtained by the novel multi-gelation method showed good performance of catalytic activity in ultra-deep hydrodesulfurization reaction. Since the multi-gelation method can control the physical properties of titania, it is expected to be a good candidate for the hydrodesulfurization or hydrotreating processes. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
