Magnetic properties of ti-doped CoFe2O4 films

摘要
The Ti0.2Co1.2Fe1.6O4 ferrite films are fabricated by a sol-gel method. The growth of particles, crystallographic and magnetic properties of the films are investigated by X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry. Our ferrite films annealed at and above 873 K have only a single spinet structure. The grain sizes and the surface roughness increase as the annealing temperature increases. The coercivity perpendicular to the plane is higher than that parallel to the plane. The coercivity annealed at and above 673 K increases as the annealing temperature increases. The maximum coercivity of our ferrite films annealed at 1073 K is 1566 Oe. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
