Trophoblastic gestational disease:: a placental site trophoblastic tumor and an epithelioid trophoblastic

Placental site trophoblostic tumor and epithelioid trophoblostic tumor ore rare gestational trophoblostic tumors. They both appear in the some context and follow the same course. We report two cases in patients aged 44 and 20 years. These lesions usually affect young women with a history of multiple gestations. Clinical manifestations include vaginal bleeding, uterin moss, and moderate elevation of serum beta human chorionic gonadotrophin levels. These morphologically distinct trophoblostic proliferations usually hove a favorable course if complete excision is performed.
