Magnetism of small supported rhodium particles studied by means of 103Rh nuclear magnetic resonance

摘要
We present experimental evidence from Rh-103 nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rates that small (average diameter 2.6 nm) supported Rh particles show antiferromagnetic susceptibility enhancement at temperatures below 80 K. Slightly larger particles (3.6 nm) have a density of states at the Fermi level on surface sites that is higher than that in the bulk.
