摘要
When silver nanocrystals are immobilized on the surface of a gold electrode and anodically oxidized to silver iodide or bromide, in situ AFM shows that a few large silver halide crystals are formed out of a large number of small silver crystals. This can only be understood when the oxidation leads primarily to an oversaturated solution from which subsequently the silver halide crystals precipitate. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
